To qualify for admission, candidates must be at least 17 years old at enrollment and hold a recognized senior high school diploma (SMA, SMK, or international equivalent). Applicants must obtain an official DGCA Class 1 Medical Certificate from Balai Kesehatan Penerbangan prior to flight training commencement.
Yes, senior high school graduates from non-science educational streams, including Social Sciences (IPS), Language, Humanities, and vocational schools (SMK) are fully eligible to apply for all AAG Indonesia flight programs. Non-science graduates can take an internal basic Mathematics and Physics diagnostic assessment. Our ground school curriculum is systematically structured to teach all applied aerodynamic and technical concepts from fundamental principles.

Because English is the operational language of global aviation and international air traffic control, AAG Indonesia requires an official TOEIC score of at least 700 for general admission (or a minimum score of 600 for select modular programs). Throughout training in Batam’s dual-jurisdiction airspace, cadets receive practical radiotelephony instruction designed to help them attain a minimum ICAO Level 4 operational English rating.
