The Commercial Pilot License – Instrument Rating (CPL-IR) Course is designed for students who have completed their Private Pilot License (PPL) and are seeking to advance their aviation training toward a professional pilot career. This integrated program develops the knowledge, flight experience, and decision-making skills required to operate aircraft safely in both visual and instrument flight conditions under commercial standards.
The training combines ground school instruction with extensive flight training, emphasizing advanced aircraft handling, cross-country navigation, crew resource management, emergency procedures, and instrument flight operations. Students will train using a combination of actual aircraft and DGCA-approved simulators to ensure they develop strong technical proficiency and operational discipline for both VFR and IFR environments.
Upon completion, graduates will be eligible for a DGCA-issued CPL with Instrument Rating (IR), providing the qualifications needed to pursue a wide range of aviation career pathways and continue to advanced training such as the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). The program typically runs for approximately ten (10) months, depending on student performance, weather conditions, and regulatory processing.

- Indonesia Police Screening Letter (SKCK)
- Copy of Private Pilot License (PPL)
- Copy of Flight Logbook (last 4 pages)
- Latest ID Photo (Red Background and Wearing White Shirt with Collar & Necktie) : 2pcs 4x6cm, 2pcs 3x4cm, 2pcs 2x3cm
Indonesia Security Clearance (from TNI-AU Headquarter) is additional requirements for foreign student applicants.
