The Foreign License Endorsement Course is designed for pilots holding a valid foreign pilot license who wish to convert it into an Indonesian DGCA-issued license. This program ensures that pilots meet all regulatory, operational, and proficiency standards required by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for local license recognition.
The course includes ground school instruction covering Indonesian aviation regulations, air law, operational procedures, and aircraft performance, along with the required theoretical examinations mandated by DGCA. Pilots will also undergo aircraft familiarization, checkout flights, and flight proficiency checks to demonstrate competency in accordance with Indonesian commercial aviation standards.
Upon completion of all required theoretical exams, documentation verification, and flight evaluations, pilots will be endorsed with the corresponding DGCA-issued license, enabling them to operate within Indonesian airspace under local regulatory compliance. Program duration varies depending on student performance, scheduling, and regulatory processing.
The training phases of the Foreign License Endorsement Course are as follows:
| Phase | Duration | Equipment |
| Ground Training | 8 hours | Classroom |
| Flight Training | 4 hours | Cessna 172 |
Note: Training duration may vary depending on weather, DGCA document processing, and trainee progress/performance.
