The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Course is intended for students who have completed their Private Pilot License (PPL) and are aiming to advance their aviation training toward a professional career. This program focuses on developing the knowledge, flight experience, and decision-making skills required to safely operate aircraft in visual flight conditions under commercial standards.
The training combines ground school instruction with hands-on flight training, emphasizing advanced aircraft handling, cross-country navigation, crew resource management, and emergency procedures. All training is conducted using actual aircraft to ensure students build practical experience and proficiency appropriate for higher-level flight operations.
Upon completion, graduates will be eligible for a DGCA-issued CPL, enabling them to pursue various aviation career pathways and continue to advanced qualifications such as Instrument Rating (IR) and Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). The program typically runs for approximately eight (8) months, depending on student performance, weather conditions, and regulatory processing.
The training phases of the PPL are as follows:
| Phase | Duration | Equipment |
| Ground Training | 70 hours | Classroom |
| Flight Training | 35 hours | Cessna 172 |
Note: Training duration may vary depending on weather, DGCA document processing, and trainee progress/performance.
