The Multi-Engine Rating (MER) Course is designed for licensed pilots who wish to expand their qualifications and gain the skills required to operate multi-engine aircraft. This specialized training develops proficiency in handling more complex aircraft systems and managing the increased performance and operational demands of multi-engine flying.

The program includes ground instruction and flight training, focusing on asymmetric flight, engine-out procedures, emergency handling, performance planning, and advanced navigation. Training is conducted using DGCA-approved multi-engine aircraft to ensure pilots develop practical competence aligned with regulatory standards.

Upon completion, graduates will obtain a DGCA-issued Multi-Engine Rating, enabling them to operate multi-engine aircraft and strengthening their qualifications for advanced commercial and airline career pathways. The program runs for approximately two (2) months, depending on student performance, weather conditions, and regulatory processing.

Here is what you can expect during your admission journey:

  1. Admission Fee: Your application process begins with the settlement of the standard admission fee, which formally registers your intent to join our academy.
  2. Psychological Profiling: Because being a pilot requires sharp mental resilience and strong decision-making skills, you will undergo a comprehensive psychological profiling assessment conducted by an officially appointed institution.
  3. Basic Math & Physics Assessment (for Non-Science High School Graduates): A strong foundation in science and mathematics is crucial for understanding aeronautical theory. If you graduated from a non-science high school track, you will complete a straightforward assessment in Basic Math and Physics to ensure you are fully prepared for our ground school curriculum.
  4. Aptitude Test: To evaluate your natural spatial awareness, multitasking ability, and hand-eye coordination—essential traits for any successful aviator—you will participate in a specialized Aptitude Test held at our Batam facility.
  5. Final Interview: The final step before earning your place in the program is a personal interview conducted directly by our Chief Instructor and the Principal or School Administrator in Batam. This is not just an evaluation of your technical readiness, but an opportunity for us to understand your passion, drive, and commitment to a lifelong career in aviation.

Once you successfully navigate these steps, you will be ready to join our next intake and begin your transformation into a world-class pilot.
